In late 2010, Astral Media received approval to relocate the main transmitter of CFQX-FM Winnipeg further South. While that change will ensure all of Winnipeg hears the signal, it will leave CJIE-FM Gimli as the only station available North of Selkirk. If you are already familiar with the Interlake - you know the area is home to affluent summer cottages for Winnipegers and a distinct mix of locals who love their way of life.
